Meet the team: Jess Lee

Continuing our meet the team series, we caught up with our Client Relationship Manager, Jess Lee. Jess tells us about her travelling experience before Sign In App, her foodie weekend plans and an insight into what it’s like heading up the customer experience team.

Tell us a bit about your background with Sign In App

After graduating from university with an English degree, I worked in commercial marketing before jetting off for 5 months travelling around Thailand and Australia. I’ve now been at Sign In App for just over a year as Client Relationship Manager.

I head up the customer experience team where we ensure that all of our customers are provided with the utmost support from their initial enquiry right through to ongoing support after they’ve purchased. I’m also involved in developing new business, so often demonstrate the app through online demos, face-to-face interaction on-site or at exhibitions.

I work closely with the development team to ensure that we’re listening to our customers and implementing their feedback at every opportunity, whilst maintaining the simplistic nature of the app.

Why is customer experience so important for Sign In App and what’s involved?

We like to let the app do the talking but the easier we can make it for our clients, the better. As we all know, brilliant customer service can go along way.

We are always working towards improving customer satisfaction. At Sign In App we want to both exceed and increase our customers' expectations. We aim to provide clients with all of the information they need to ensure they are purchasing a product that can best meet their requirements. We have also aimed to make the set-up of the app seamless and we are always on hand to provide ongoing support.

What does a typical day in the office look like for you?

Every day is different. Some days can be more focused on sales, new enquiries and developing new business with prospective clients and resellers. Other days can be primarily focused on offering support to existing clients.

We are very excited to be exhibiting at The Bett Show again in 2020, so we’re spending quite a bit of time planning and preparing for that at the moment.

What’s been your most memorable day at Sign In App to date?

Oooh that’s a tricky one! I would probably say when we hit 10 million Sign In’s as this was such a big achievement for us and just shows us that the app is developing so quickly. It’s amazing to see how the work you put in can have such an impact and that so many people are successfully using the solution.

What are your interests outside of work?

I’m a huge foodie so I love to try out new restaurants and local independent cafes; a weekend brunch or Sunday roast in a country pub are my faves! I’m also quite an active person so you will often find me on dog walks, in the gym or doing a class.
