Over the last few months, you've probably noticed a few things changing around Sign In App.
We launched Android support. We rebuilt our kiosk experience from the ground up. And if you've been following the journey of Sign In App and SwipedOn coming together, you've already seen some of that convergence in action too.
We started bringing together the best of both platforms, combining the flexibility, usability, and device choice that customers loved in SwipedOn with the depth, control, and compliance capabilities that Sign In App is known for.
Those weren't isolated updates. They were all part of something bigger.
Today, we're introducing the all-new Sign In App experience: the biggest evolution of Sign In App since the company was founded.
Don’t worry, it's still the Sign In App you use every day. But it's now faster, smarter, and significantly easier to manage.
Everything you need, in one place
We've added a lot of capability over the years. More visitor types. More devices. More locations. More ways to customize your experience.
The challenge is often that powerful software can quickly become complicated software.
The all-new Sign In App experience is our answer to that.
We've redesigned the experience around a simple idea: everything you need should be easier to find, easier to manage, and easier to act on.
The result is a new experience that brings together activity, people, settings, devices, and administration in one connected place.
No more jumping between different screens to understand what's happening across your organization.
A better view of what's happening
One of the biggest changes is the new Unified Activity View.
Instead of separating live activity from historical reporting, everything now lives in a single view.
- Need to see who's currently on-site?
- Need to look back at activity from last week?
- Need to filter by location or export data?
It's all there.
Alongside this, we've introduced a new People Directory that brings visitors, contractors, employees, and students into one place, making it much easier to manage the people who interact with your organization every day.
Less administration, more control
We've also spent a lot of time removing repetitive work.
- Settings have been completely reorganized with clearer navigation and smarter layouts.
- Self-service billing gives you more control over invoices and subscriptions.
Many of the tasks that previously required multiple clicks or multiple screens now happen much faster - so you spend less time managing the platform and more time on what matters.
Better device management across every site
If you read our recent Kiosk v5 announcement, you'll already know we've made major improvements to device management.
Most kiosk settings can now be managed remotely from the portal.
Changes can be pushed instantly to devices without needing someone on-site.
We've also added:
- Real-time device configuration updates
- Dark mode
- Custom brand colours on kiosk
- Improved Android and iPad experiences
If you've ever had to call a site and walk somebody through changing a kiosk setting, you'll understand why this matters.
Smarter tools that help you stay ahead
Some of the most exciting changes aren't about administration at all. They're about helping organizations stay ahead of risk.
- Visitor pre-boarding allows visitors to receive information before arrival.
- Assessments and safety quizzes help organizations collect important information before access is granted.
- Data anonymization tools help support privacy and compliance requirements.
- Host push notifications keep employees informed the moment visitors arrive.
Together, these changes help move important tasks earlier in the visitor journey instead of creating friction when someone reaches the front desk.
This is just the beginning
The all-new Sign In App experience represents an important milestone for our team. But it's also the foundation for what comes next.
As we continue building the Access Intelligence Platform, we'll keep investing in the tools that help organizations stay informed, stay compliant, and stay in control without creating more work in the process.
We're looking forward to sharing more over the coming months.
As always, many of these improvements started as conversations with customers.
The visibility you asked for. The control you needed. The flexibility you wanted.
Thank you for helping shape what's next for Sign In App.
